Old-School Nachos

YOU'LL NEED
1 bag El Sabor® Salted Nacho
500g ground beef
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup El Sabor® Mild salsa dip
2-3 cups shredded cheddar
Optional toppings (such as thinly sliced green onion, snipped fresh cilantro, sour cream or/and additional bottled chunky salsa)
LETS' COOK
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Arrange half of the tortilla chips on an ovenproof platter or pan; set aside.
- In a large skillet cook ground beef over medium heat until brown. Drain off fat.
- Stir the black beans and the 1 cup salsa into the beef. Spoon half of the mixture over chips. Sprinkle with half the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts. Remove from the oven. Top with remaining chips, beef mixture, and cheese. Bake for 10 minutes more or until the cheese melts.
- If desired, top with green onion, cilantro, jalapeño chile pepper, sour cream, and/or additional salsa.
